Conrad Electronic SE

As an internationally operating company, Conrad is present in 16 European countries as an omnichannel provider for technology and electronics. Founded in 1923 and still owner-managed today, the family business has developed step by step from a specialist mail order company for electronic components to a professional sourcing platform for technical operating supplies. Conrad relies on state-of-the-art logistics processes to supply its customers in more than 150 countries: The logistics center in Wernberg-Köblitz, located just a few kilometers from the company's headquarters in Hirschau, is a high-tech facility of gigantic proportions. Conrad stores are also supplied from this functional building complex, which houses fully automated high-bay warehouses with 44,000 pallet spaces and the shuttle warehouse with 235,000 storage spaces that went into operation in 2014. On average, around 40,000 parcels leave the distribution center every day, and at peak times this figure can be as high as 75,000.
