2023

• Controlware takes second place "Best IT Service Provider 2023" in the customer survey by ChannelPartner and Computerwoche.
• In the customer survey by ChannelPartner and Computerwoche, Controlware takes 2nd place as "Best Managed Service Provider 2023".

2022

• In the customer survey by ChannelPartner and Computerwoche, Controlware takes 2nd place as "Best Managed Service Provider 2022".
   
• Controlware takes 2nd place as "Best IT Service Provider 2022" in the revenue class from 250 million to 1 billion euros in the customer survey by ChannelPartner and Computerwoche.

2021

Controlware is "Germany's Best System House". In the customer survey by ChannelPartner and Computerwoche, Controlware takes 1st place. and is thus the "System House of the Year 2021" in the category 250 million to one billion euros in annual revenue.

Twice "Leader" in the ISG Provider Lens (TM): Controlware is top provider for Managed Security Services and Technical Security Services.

The topic of training and development is of central importance at Controlware. The training offer includes: IT system management specialists with a focus on sales consulting and sales support at the interface between sales and technology, as well as IT specialists for system integration and warehouse logistics specialists. In addition, Controlware offers various dual, operational and cooperative study programs for computer science, business informatics and IT security with theoretical and practical phases in cooperation with renowned German universities.

2020

Anniversary "40 years of Controlware

Controlware is one of the winners of the Great Place to Work® competition "Best Employers in Hesse" and "Best ICT Employers 2020". Companies that offer their employees a particularly good and attractive corporate culture were honored.

Controlware is one of the "Top System Houses 2020 in Germany". In the customer survey conducted by ChannelPartner and Computerwoche, Controlware achieves 2nd place, making it one of the top system houses in Germany. (Sales category 250 million to one billion euros in annual sales).

Controlware receives the Silver Award from the world-renowned CSR rating agency EcoVadis. For the fourth time in a row, Controlware has been awarded a "Silver Medal" for outstanding sustainability policy. In the rating table, Controlware is now among the nine percent of the best-rated companies in the area of corporate social responsibility (CSR). CSR refers to corporate social responsibility, which is becoming increasingly important due to globalization and its consequences. The above-average result underpins the high priority that the topic of sustainability has at Controlware.

 

2018

XXIII Olympic Winter Games and XII. Paralympics 2018 in South Korea: Controlware and Net Insight optimize HD audio/data transmission for ARD and ZDF.

Performance and security at a glance: Controlware CSC offers classic availability monitoring as well as IT security monitoring as a managed service.

Controlware Cyber Defense Center adds customized Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) to its managed security services. The ATP services enable companies of all sizes to protect infrastructures and data against targeted multi-stage attacks and to react more quickly in the event of successful attacks.

2017

Controlware opens SDN demo labs in Dietzenbach and Ingolstadt.

2016

Controlware receives BG ETEM certification for occupational health and safety management system.

2011

An impressive park is being created behind the company's headquarters in Dietzenbach, inviting employees and the public to linger.

2010

• Controlware celebrates 30th company anniversary

• Increased focus on system integration DACH

2009

• "1st Controlware Security Day" takes place - Industry meeting for customers and partners.
   
• Helmut Wörner travels to the Middle East region with a high-ranking delegation led by Roland Koch, Prime Minister of Hesse. There he presents effective security solutions to Arab investors.

More than 500 employees worldwide look after the needs of customers.

2006

Customer Service Center (CSC) expanded to include modular standard and individual services, including Managed Network Services, Managed Security Services and Managed Application Services.
Acquisition of Networkers AG, based in Hagen, Germany.

2000

Controlware is awarded second place in the Hessian company competition "Hidden Champions 2000".

1999

• Controlware is voted among the top 100 most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany.
   
• Helmut Wörner initiates the KoSI (Cooperative Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science) program at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences (Dieburg Campus).

Inclusion in the Honorary List of "Europe's 500"; Controlware is one of the 500 most dynamic medium-sized companies in Europe.

Controlware puts its own Network Operating Center (NOC) into operation. Customers from all industries can now be supported 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Controlware own developments IDB-64/2 and the TAXI product family enable the establishment of national and international backup networks via ISDN.

1982

With the development of Controlware E-Link modem, transmission rates over two-wire lines full duplex up to 19.2kbit/s are achieved.

1980

September 26, 1980: Helmut Wörner founds Controlware GmbH in Dreieich/Götzenhain. The focus is on system integration and the development of own products.
