From the very beginning at Controlware we started developing our own hardware and software for voice and data applications. In the early 80’s we first designed the IDB-64/2 and the Taxi product family, our highly successful intelligent ISDN-access and backup solutions.
The product range was extended as time went by to include developments in areas like Video surveillance with the creation of Cware our video management software. Simultaneously we developed fiber optic connectivity solutions for metro environments and pioneered with our partners the introduction of innovative technologies like Wimax.
In 1999 Controlware was included in the German Top 100 ‘most innovative mid-size companies’ and was awarded “hidden champion 2000” one year later.
As a global equipment supplier, system integrator and service supplier Controlware is also able to develop bespoke products, solutions and services to meet individual customer requirements.
