Foundation of Controlware GmbH on September 26, 1980 by Mr. Wörner in Dreieich/Götzenhain.

1981
Debut of Controlware at the CeBIT exhibition.

1982
Controlware starts with the development of its own products. The E-Link modem allows tranfer rates up to 19,2 kbit/s using full-duplex two-wire-lines.

1986
Controlware moves to new business premises and laboratories in the industrial area of Dietzenbach.

1988
Controlware lays the foundation for developing national and international backup networks with IDB 64/2 and the Taxi-product family.

1993
International expansion and opening of subsidiaries in Australia, Switzerland and America.

1995
Additional Branch in Belgium.

1996
The Network Operating Center (NOC) and the international TAC are officially opened.

1997
Inclusion in the Honorary List of "Europe's 500"; Controlware is one of the 500 most dynamic and medium-sized businesses in Europe.

1998
Additional Branch in Austria.

1999
Controlware is included in the "TOP 100" most innovative medium-sized businesses in Germany.

2005
Controlware celebrates its 25-year anniversary.
