The new product of the Controlware IBS range, the Controlware Intelligent Resilience Universal System (CiRUS) delivers innovative and versatile protection for IP Internet access and services.

This scenario guarantees access to Internet services regardless of the primary access link or CPE router availability. The Internet provider can be unique or two different ISP's can be used. NAT protocol will be supported both by the CPE router and by the IBS CiRUS100.

When managed by an alternative ISP the IBS CiRUS100 offers reliable backup independently of the primary ISP's SLA. The internet access is guaranteed all the time.

While the IBS CiRUS100 monitors the primary path - for backup criteria detection - the IBS CIRUS100 can detect specific heavy user traffic and decide to route them to the resilient path (avoiding like this the primary path overload), offering an OVERFLOW mechanism.

The flexibility & the scalability of the IBS CiRUS100's architecture allows to deliver additional features -in case of connectivity extension (VPN)- while keeping initial investments.

The resilience shall be applied over either DSL or Wireless WAN technologies. The IBS CiRUS100 supporting all of them.
